ACG Set to Exhibit, Conduct CxA Workshop at AHR
Group is Also Presenter of CxEnergy Conference & Expo in April
WASHINGTON D.C. – December 12, 2017 – The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) is a non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of independent third-party building commissioning comprising the world’s largest group of certified commissioning authorities (CxAs). Earlier this year, the CxA program achieved accreditation by ANSI enabling it to be recognized by the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings® Workforce Guidelines program, ensuring that the CxA is considered an approved commissioning credential for all federally funded projects. ACG is exhibiting in booth 2824.
ACG is conducting a newly expanded, two-day workshop and exam for its Commissioning Authority (CxA) Certification on January 23-24, 2018 in conjunction with the AHR Expo. This workshop covers all aspects of commissioning ranging from project management to functional testing and entails many group breakout activities to develop and discuss samples of key commissioning deliverables. The CxA exam is a 4-hour, closed-book exam that tests candidates on their knowledge of the commissioning process, as well as a general understanding of building systems and how commissioning fits in with the rest of the construction process.
